Kohler Engines Names New Director for Worldwide Marketing & Quality
Rich Koehl has been promoted to Director-Marketing & Quality for Kohler Engines.
In this newly created position, Koehl is responsible for quality improvement initiatives and identifying Engine Division product opportunities in the marketplace. He reports to Paul Bartelt, President-Kohler engine business.
Koehl began his career with Kohler Co. in 2003 as Director- Product Engineering and Quality Worldwide for Kohler Power Systems, the company's generator division.
Prior to joining Kohler, Koehl spent five years as the Director of Operations and Engineering at Benchmark Electronics, a global electronics manufacturer. He also served as the Director of Engineering and Quality for Yazaki North America, Inc., through Nacom Corporation, and as Military Programs Director for Motorola.
Koehl earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the United States Air Force University extension program at the New York Institute of Technology. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, as well as a Certified Quality Manager and Reliability Engineer through the American Society for Quality.
